At Jiujify we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it and what your rights are as a user.
1. Information we collect
Jiujify may collect account data such as your internal user ID, email address, display name and login method. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth; Jiujify does not see or store passwords in plain text. We may also collect profile data such as practitioner name, belt, stripes, manually entered academies, optional profile photo, language, theme and app preferences; training data such as date, duration, training type, optional academy, notes, practiced techniques, submissions, rounds, energy, performance, optional training photos, goals, streaks, promotions and derived statistics; and custom content such as custom techniques, custom lists, favorites and custom positions. For subscriptions, we collect Pro subscription status and product or transaction identifiers received from Apple, Google Play or RevenueCat. Jiujify does not receive or store card numbers, bank details or payment credentials. We may collect device, diagnostics and usage data such as app analytics events, crash reports, non-fatal errors, device or installation identifiers used by Firebase or RevenueCat, FCM push tokens, platform, time zone and notification settings.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to create and maintain your account, sync data across devices, show your history, statistics, progress, streaks and Pro content, store optional photos and user-created content, validate subscriptions and restore purchases, send notifications if you allow them, improve stability, measure aggregate usage, fix errors and respond to account or data requests.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share personal data for third-party advertising. We share only what is needed to operate Jiujify with service providers that help us provide the app. These providers include Supabase for authentication, database, storage and transactional emails such as password reset messages; Firebase / Google for Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging; RevenueCat for subscription management, Pro entitlement and purchase status; Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases; and Google for Google Sign-In and Google Play purchases.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored with service providers that use technical and organizational safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls and backup processes. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to people and systems that need it to operate Jiujify.
5. Permissions, location and community features
Jiujify asks for permissions only when needed. Camera access is used only to take a profile or training photo. Photos or media library access is used only to choose photos. Notifications are used only for reminders and motivation or pre-training messages if you allow them. Internet access is used for login, sync, purchases, analytics, crash reporting and push notifications. Jiujify does not collect precise or approximate location data in the current version of the app. Jiujify does not currently offer public community profiles, public posts, comments or a nearby-dojo search feature. Any academy names saved in the app are entered manually by the user as part of their training profile or training logs.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account exists. You can delete your account from the app. You can also request account or data deletion by writing to jiujify@gmail.com. When an account is deleted, we delete Jiujify/Supabase data associated with the profile, trainings, custom techniques, custom lists and photos. Some data may remain for a limited time in backups, security logs or records needed for legal obligations. Receipts, transaction history and tax/payment records are handled by Apple, Google Play and/or RevenueCat according to their own policies. Deleting your Jiujify account does not automatically cancel an active subscription; you must cancel it through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete information from the app when the interface allows it. For additional access, correction, portability or deletion requests, contact us at jiujify@gmail.com. If you are in the European Union, additional GDPR rights may apply. If you are in Chile, Law 19,628 on personal data protection may apply.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with it. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time. The mobile app uses anonymous identifiers for analytics.
9. Children
Jiujify is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not intentionally collect data from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor without consent, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
